“John and I were founder members of the group in the Summer of ’69 (as the song goes!).
John preferred to man front of house and make props for the plays. I think I have been involved in many differing capacities over the years from performing, to chairperson, to tea server. I loved performing in plays and the old-time music halls were a lot of fun! So many productions stick out for me – ‘Night Must Fall’, ‘Lady Windermere’s’ Fan’, and Abigail’s Party to name a few – the pantos too of course!
We have made so many friends over those years, and we still keep in touch with another of the original members who lives in the Wirral now.
Long may this lovely group continue.”

  1. I am trying to establish contact with Pam Grant who was a school classmate of my mum, Margaret Greenwood.
My mother has lost the phone number of her friend and I would like to re-establish contact for her.
I would appreciate it if someone could pass along my email.
